Do CLP students have to attend the CLP the entire school day?

No, CLP students can attend partial days in the CLP and attend traditional brick and mortar classes to work into the strengths of each student. We also offer a check-in / check-out program to create improved organizational skills, academic planning, and relationship building for truancy based students.

Can CLP students receive additional counseling support?

Yes, additional counseling support can be contracted through NLS staff to meet the individual needs that may exceed traditional school counseling services. Group and family counseling is available.

Will the services provided in the the CLP create a conflict through our teachers union.

No, services provided by NLS staff are supplemental to the all school based services. We provided additional tiered support in conjunction with support already provided. We are not contracted to replace the jobs that are currently available, we are another layer of support.

Are the families of CLP students involved in the process?

Absolutely, frequent parent/guardian contacts are made. Daily contacts are made for any student that is absent, bi-weekly academic updates, and any behavior concern is relayed as frequently as needed to provide the highest level of support.

Can you provided ISS support daily?

Yes, can can provide data and academic driven ISS support to greatly decrease out of school suspensions.

Can you service students receiving IEP services?

Yes, we work closely with special education staff from the host district. Additional special monitoring can be contracted though NLS to provided another layer of student support.

Can you provide credit recovery options?

Yes, we can provided additional credit recovery support. We will work closely with counseling department to create a plan to recover missing courses aligned to meet graduation requirements.
